Comic Book Art in Stitch

After the Upfest street Art festival last weekend I felt really inspired and decided to create my own piece of Artwork.  I printed out some comic book style pictures and cut them up, shaded them in and stitched over them to create this colourful textured collage.  The paper was then stitched on to fabric (using drop feed embroidery) and stretched and stapled on to these canvas boards.  This was a quick and fun way to create some decorative Artwork to brighten up the house.  You could use any theme and play around with layering too to create different effects.
